The IDF said a Friday strike directed by the Shin Bet in central Gaza killed Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative Taher Ahmad Salem Abd al-Wahed. According to the military, Abd al-Wahed stormed the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, and commanded the abduction of Inbar Haiman, who was murdered and taken to Gaza. A separate central Gaza strike killed PIJ operative Salah Subhi Salah Qatrawi, who had sought attacks near aid-distribution sites. The IDF said both men had recently been advancing imminent attacks against Israeli civilians and troops.
