IDF Kills PIJ Nukhba Commander Who Invaded Israel on Oct. 7
The IDF said Tuesday that a precision airstrike in central Gaza killed Ali Qaid Mohammed Stitan, a platoon commander in Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Nukhba forces. The army said Stitan infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre and, during the war and in recent days, tried to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. Times of Israel, Caliber and IsraelNoticias report the same named account, with the IDF source saying he was eliminated because he remained a threat to forces operating in Gaza. Israel is continuing to close accounts with October 7 perpetrators while reducing the terror infrastructure that made invasion and hostage-taking possible.
