IDF Kills PIJ Nukhba Commander Who Invaded Israel on Oct. 7

The IDF said Tuesday that a precision airstrike in central Gaza killed Ali Qaid Mohammed Stitan, a platoon commander in Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Nukhba forces. The army said Stitan infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre and, during the war and in recent days, tried to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. The IDF said he was eliminated because he remained a threat to forces operating in Gaza. Israel is continuing to close accounts with October 7 perpetrators while reducing the terror infrastructure that made invasion and hostage-taking possible.
