The IDF and Shin Bet said a southern Gaza strike killed Talal Jaber Mohammad Abd al-Aal, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who commanded a cell that invaded Israel during the October 7 massacre. The military said he also helped hold hostages in southern Gaza during the war, and he was identified as one of Rom Braslavski's captors. Braslavski publicly welcomed the settling of accounts with the man who abused him. Israel is continuing to remove named October 7 perpetrators so Gaza cannot again serve as a base for hostage-taking and invasion.
