Iranian reports placed the newly opened ninth consecutive night of U.S. strikes at Tabriz in northwest Iran and at Bandar Mahshahr and Bandar Imam Khomeini in the southwest. They also reported air-defense activity at Chabahar and Konarak in the southeast, with blasts at Sirik and Bushehr. CENTCOM said the wave began at 7 p.m. Eastern, 2 a.m. in Israel, to degrade Iranian military capabilities used against commercial vessels and civilian mariners in the Strait of Hormuz. The initial location reports gave no casualty count, damage assessment or U.S. target list.
