Netanyahu Rejects Rabbi Landau's Remarks Against Religious Zionist Soldiers
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Rabbi Dov Landau's remarks against Religious Zionist IDF soldiers, calling them shocking. Netanyahu said religious, secular and Haredi service members leave their homes, jobs and families and risk their lives to defend Israel, its citizens and the Jewish people. He said they deserve deep appreciation, gratitude and full backing from every part of the public, including the Torah world. Rabbi Landau had said Religious Zionists who encourage military service incite killing, while speaking during a visit by heads of Mir Yeshiva at his Bnei Brak home.
