Degel HaTorah leader Rabbi Dov Landau sharply criticized the Religious Zionist community during a conversation with heads of Haredi yeshivas. He said some people wearing knitted kippot were wicked and described those who enlist in the IDF and kill people as committing murder. Rabbi Landau asked whether such killing was permissible and accused the group he criticized of inciting murder. He further said wars were being waged not only for rescue but also for the honor of the state. The report did not identify when or where the conversation took place or name the other rabbis present.
