Iranian Missile Attack Targets Aqaba as Smoke Rises Near Eilat
An Iranian missile attack targeted Jordan's Aqaba area on Wednesday, sounding warning sirens as plumes of smoke were visible from nearby Eilat. Jordan's armed forces said its defenses intercepted four Iranian missiles and that two others fell in remote, uninhabited areas. The IDF said no Iron Dome interceptors were launched and no debris from the Jordanian interception reached Israeli territory. A separate report said U.S. forces intercepted the missiles near Aqaba, the smoke was caused by falling debris, and no injuries were reported.
