Egypt Reportedly Accelerates Gaza Stabilization Force Deployment

Egypt is working with the United States and regional partners to accelerate deployment of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza, according to Israeli reports citing sources familiar with the effort. Cairo believes the force could protect the ceasefire and support the Palestinian technocratic committee led by Ali Shaath. The reported plans include a pilot zone in Rafah with prefabricated housing, while Morocco and Kosovo prepare possible troop deployments. Israel is conditioning approval on the disarmament of Hamas and other terrorist factions, and Israeli objections to Turkish participation remain in place.
