Gaza Lookouts Warn Hamas Is Testing IDF Responses Along Yellow Line

IDF lookouts in two Gaza-envelope sectors say suspicious individuals and Hamas terrorists approach the yellow line daily to test Israeli responses. One lookout said she saw a suspect with a weapon and activity consistent with planting an explosive device, but authorization to engage ‘got stuck up top.’ Another said the repeated incidents made her feel ‘like October 6th,’ while the soldiers described delays as higher-level approval is sought. The Prime Minister’s Office said there is no political restriction and that every soldier is expected to act decisively against threats to troops and civilians.
