Former Agriculture Ministry Director Dani Kritchman Dies at 88

Dani Kritchman, a former Agriculture Ministry director-general and former chairman of the World Zionist Organization's Settlement Division, has died at 88. The Beit HaLevi moshav resident began his career coordinating Moshav Movement settlement in the Golan Heights and later assisted agriculture minister Rafael Eitan. He went on to lead the Citrus Marketing Board and the Settlement Division, which expanded support for rural communities in Judea and Samaria, the Jordan Valley, the Golan, Galilee and Negev during his tenure. Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman praised his service to agriculture, settlement and Zionism.
