Northern Recovery Initiative Backs 46 Farms and 268,000 Plantings

ReGrow Israel says it has raised $6.5 million and is supporting 46 farms in 21 northern communities, advancing the planting of more than 268,000 fruit trees and grapevines. Its grants cover about 30% of planting and early cultivation costs, helping growers restart work while state compensation claims remain pending. The program combines rehabilitation grants with agricultural technology, including climate-protection systems and crop changes. The orchards include apples, cherries, avocados and wine grapes. ReGrow is seeking another $7 million to assist 48 additional farms waiting for support.
