IDF Removes 20 Israelis From Tell After Unapproved Entry

Israeli forces removed about 20 Israeli civilians from Tell, south of Nablus, after they entered the Palestinian village Saturday for an unapproved tour, reports said. The entry was not coordinated or authorized by security forces, and the group had no official escort. Later reports said IDF troops brought the group out and that the incident, which occurred around noon, had ended; no clashes were reported. The entry came one day after an uncoordinated hike near Tell led to a Palestinian attack in which Maj. Yuval Ezra and Havat Gilad security officer Benayahu Mellet were killed.
