Magen David Adom said a 76-year-old woman died after being pulled unconscious from the Mediterranean near Kibbutz Sdot Yam, south of Caesarea, on Monday morning. The emergency service said its Sharon district 101 center received the report at 9:25 a.m. Medics and paramedics performed resuscitation at the scene. The team ultimately pronounced her dead following the resuscitation attempt. The official update did not identify the woman or give further circumstances about how she entered distress in the water.
