Man, About 60, Seriously Hurt After Drowning at Neve Yam Beach

A man about 60 was seriously injured after drowning near Neve Yam Beach by Atlit. Magen David Adom said its Carmel dispatch center received the emergency call at 11:36 and sent medics and paramedics to the scene. The team provided medical treatment and evacuated him in serious condition to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. The initial official notice did not identify the man or describe how the drowning occurred, and no further update on his condition was available when the report was published.
