Police arrested a 30-year-old Nazareth resident at Ben Gurion Airport on suspicion of involvement in the May killing of Salah Zoabi, 63, as the suspect allegedly tried to leave Israel. A court extended his detention through August 4. Zoabi was shot outside his Nazareth home while eating breakfast with his five-year-old son. Investigators suspect the killing followed a dispute over NIS 3,000, while earlier reporting described the dispute as involving construction of stairs; the suspect has not been convicted.
