The Central District Court sentenced Brakat Abu Isa, a Tel Sheva resident, to 21 years in prison for raping a Gadera woman after breaking into her home. The attack occurred at night while the victim's two-year-old son was present. In testimony summarized with the sentence, the victim said Abu Isa bound her entire body beside the child, moved through the home and returned to rape her. The court had convicted him of aggravated rape, abuse of a minor and burglary in April.
