The IDF said troops found dozens of Hezbollah weapons over recent days while operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon. Soldiers from the 401st, 4th and 300th brigades located Kalashnikov rifles, RPG rockets, explosive devices, grenades, magazines and other military equipment as forces continued efforts to dismantle weapons left in the area. Separately, the IDF said Unit 869 identified a suspect approaching troops near Ras Bayada in a threatening manner. Brigade 55 soldiers fired warning shots, then fired toward him after he continued advancing and ignored their calls.
