The IDF said the 401st Brigade, operating under the 91st Division, completed an eight-month mission in southern Lebanon combining border defense with operations in the security zone. Troops dismantled more than 1,200 Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites, including underground routes stretching hundreds of meters, in cooperation with Yahalom. They also located more than 600 weapons and eliminated more than 60 Hezbollah terrorists. Brigade commander Col. Yoav Schneider said the mission was to prevent and push back threats to Israeli civilians, while honoring the brigade’s fallen.
