The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced Solomon Madmon to life imprisonment after convicting him of aggravated murder in the 2022 killing of Yossi Yosefia, 63, in Ramat Gan. Judges also ordered Madmon to pay financial compensation to Yosefia's children. The court found that Madmon, angered by his daughter-in-law's decision to separate from his son, arrived at Yosefia's residential building armed with a handgun and shot him six times near the apartment. The panel rejected Madmon's intoxication defense and also convicted him of weapons and threats offenses.
