CENTCOM Rejects IRGC Claim That Jordan Strike Destroyed U.S. F-35s

U.S. Central Command rejected an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claim that an Iranian ballistic-missile strike on Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan destroyed three U.S. F-35 fighters and heavily damaged three more. CENTCOM said no American aircraft were destroyed or damaged in recent attempted Iranian attacks, and that every missile and drone was intercepted or failed to reach its target. The IRGC also claimed several U.S. troops were killed, but the American military did not confirm casualties. Iran said the attack retaliated for U.S. strikes on two homes on Qeshm Island.
