Police Seize Two Pistols in Kafr Kanna and Reineh, Arrest Two Suspects

Police and Border Police officers seized two pistols during separate overnight raids in Kafr Kanna and Reineh, according to a report based on police information. Intelligence led officers to two compounds where they found an FN pistol, a Glock pistol and additional weaponry believed intended for use in organized-crime disputes. Police arrested a 24-year-old Kafr Kanna resident and a 19-year-old Reineh resident. Investigators planned to ask the Nazareth-Nof HaGalil Magistrate's Court on Thursday morning to extend both suspects' detention as the investigation continued.
