Trump Has Not Set Timing or Scale of New Iran Strikes

President Donald Trump has not decided the timing or intensity of renewed strikes on Iran, according to a fresh report issued after Tehran’s latest attack on American forces. An Israeli official said Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed three paths at length: an agreement, continued naval and economic pressure, or resumed and intensified military action. Trump said Iran would be hit hard while also leaving open the possibility of an agreement. Israeli officials said Washington is directing Iran policy and Israel is awaiting Trump’s decision, while reserving an immediate response if Iran attacks Israel.
