Qatari-Linked Media Campaign Casts Israelis Abroad as Settlers

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of protesters holding a large banner on a stone waterfront in Rhodes while beachgoers stand and swim in the foreground.

A 20-minute video that drew more than 500,000 views in about a week portrays Israelis traveling or relocating abroad as continuing a colonial project and carrying violence in their DNA. The video was produced by Uncivilized, whose operating company is registered in Doha and appears in Qatar's state-backed media ecosystem. The report identifies founder Salem Barahmeh as a former Palestinian public-diplomacy official and co-founder Tala Kaddoura as a former Al Jazeera producer. Israeli antisemitism researcher Hen Mazzig said blaming people for where they were born, rather than their conduct, turns political criticism into antisemitism.
