Influencers Blame Israel for Spain's Ceuta Crisis Without Evidence

Several anti-Israel social-media figures blamed Israel for mass border crossings into Spain's Ceuta and Melilla enclaves, citing a 2019 post by Yair Netanyahu as purported proof. Candace Owens, Ana Alcalde and Alex Jones circulated versions of the claim, while Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska said authorities had no intelligence indicating Morocco organized the influx. Spanish officials said crossings into Ceuta stopped overnight and most migrants returned to Morocco. Police began installing a 500-meter floating barrier after the mass crossing, which killed at least 67 people.
