Herzog Says Mamdani’s Rhetoric Endangers New Yorkers

President Isaac Herzog said New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s rhetoric fuels antisemitism and endangers the safety, well-being and lives of his own constituents. In an interview published Saturday, Herzog accused Mamdani of driving hostility toward Jewish New Yorkers while claiming to protect them. Herzog also urged the International Criminal Court to abandon its case against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following prosecutor Karim Khan’s removal amid misconduct allegations. Turning to Gaza, he said Hamas must be disarmed and prevented from governing or again using the territory as a base for terrorism and hatred.
