Newly released investigative materials show accused Iranian agent Jacob Perl filming routes near former IDF chief Herzi Halevi’s home with a bicycle-mounted camera and documenting security around National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir. The reported messages show an Iranian handler directing him to buy the camera and approach the locations while avoiding detection. Prosecutors have accused Perl, an American-Israeli citizen, of knowingly carrying out missions for Iranian intelligence. Investigators said he received about $15,000, and he remains jailed following an indictment in the Tel Aviv District Court.
