Netanyahu Says Israel Did Not Agree to Board of Peace Gaza Draft

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel did not agree to the Board of Peace's Hamas-disarmament draft and sent back comments. He said the IDF will remain on its current lines in Gaza until Hamas is fully disarmed, rejecting any pullback before weapons are surrendered. The draft would link an Israeli withdrawal toward the original Yellow Line to steps in Hamas's disarmament process and require a halt to military operations when it takes effect. Netanyahu said Israel was examining whether the U.S.-led initiative could achieve full disarmament while continuing to instruct troops to defend themselves, Israeli territory and civilians.
