Trump Says Gaza Understandings With Israel Are in Place

President Donald Trump said at a live Cabinet meeting at Camp David that the United States has understandings with Israel on the Gaza roadmap and that Israel is pleased with them. Asked whether Israeli withdrawal or Hamas disarmament must come first, Trump did not specify a sequence. The published roadmap ties a phased Israeli withdrawal to verified decommissioning, while the timetable remains under negotiation. Israeli officials have publicly insisted that forces will not leave the Yellow Line before Hamas is fully disarmed and Gaza demilitarized.
