U.S. Told Hamas Netanyahu Committed to Gaza Withdrawal, Report Says

Arab sources said the Trump administration assured Hamas that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was committed to the new Gaza roadmap, including an eventual IDF withdrawal from the Yellow Line. The roadmap links phased Israeli withdrawals to verified decommissioning and storage of Hamas heavy weapons, tunnels and production sites. An Israeli political source stressed that troops would not leave the current line before Hamas genuinely disarms. Israeli assessments expect Hamas to violate the deal, making withdrawals unlikely before the October election. Israel has not formally approved or publicly commented on the roadmap.
