UAE Welcomes Gaza Disarmament Deal With Phased Israeli Withdrawal

The United Arab Emirates welcomed President Donald Trump's announcement that the Board of Peace reached an agreement to disarm Hamas and other armed groups under his 20-point Gaza plan. The UAE Foreign Ministry said the agreement provides for phased disarmament, concurrent Israeli troop withdrawals, and deployment of an international stabilization force alongside a new Palestinian police force. It credited Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye with facilitating an understanding between the parties. The ministry said it hopes the step will support reconstruction, humanitarian aid and a political process toward a two-state solution.
