Israel Maintains Gaza Ceasefire and Yellow Line Deployment Despite Plan Rejection

Israel has continued observing the Gaza ceasefire and has carried out no targeted killings for several days, despite publicly rejecting the Board of Peace's 15-point framework. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir issued the directive Monday after an instruction from Israel's political leadership. Israeli forces are positioned along the original Yellow Line, covering about 53% of the Gaza Strip, with no current positions beyond it. Work around Rafah is limited to temporary structures and supporting infrastructure, while Israel maintains that permanent reconstruction cannot begin before Hamas is fully disarmed.
