Israel’s Foreign Ministry issued a heightened-caution advisory for Israelis in Greece on Sunday as anti-Israel demonstrations were expected at dozens of locations nationwide. The protests were scheduled in Athens, Thessaloniki, islands, and other tourist centers against the backdrop of the Gaza war. The ministry urged Israelis to avoid demonstrations and large gatherings, stay alert, and avoid friction or confrontation with protesters. It also recommended concealing Israeli and Jewish identifiers, not publishing real-time locations on social media, following local authority updates, and obeying Greek security instructions.
