Netanyahu Gives First Likud Reserved Slot to Tech Investor Oren Dobronsky

Likud announced Monday evening that technology entrepreneur and investor Oren Dobronsky will receive Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's first reserved place on the party's slate for the upcoming election. The party said Dobronsky, known publicly from the television program The Sharks, will lead artificial-intelligence policy across the economy, education, medicine and government after the election. His precise list position will be announced after Likud's primary, though he is expected to receive a high slot. Netanyahu secured eight reserved positions through 29th place, and Likud said Dobronsky is the first person selected for one of them.
