Former Mossad Chief Says Agency Toured Fordow Site Many Times

Former Mossad director Yossi Cohen said at the Galilee Conference that Israeli intelligence had toured Iran's underground Fordow nuclear facility many times to understand it. He said the U.S. strike on Fordow in June 2025 fulfilled his ambitions regarding the heavily fortified site. Cohen also said Iran's 60%-enriched uranium remained far from a nuclear weapon, arguing that the enrichment level did not make a bomb imminent. He did not elaborate on what he meant by touring the facility. The United States attacked Fordow with B-2 bombers using GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs.
