Hezbollah Attack Seriously Wounds Three IDF Soldiers, PMO Says

The Prime Minister’s Office said Hezbollah violated the ceasefire Saturday morning by attacking IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone near the Lebanese border, seriously wounding three. It said the troops were protecting Israeli communities and the IDF retaliated against the Hezbollah headquarters from which the attack order was issued. The office said the military learned only after the strike that civilians had been deliberately placed inside the compound, and accused Hezbollah of using its own civilians as human shields. The IDF said separately that it struck Hezbollah infrastructure in Nabatieh and Ansar following the attack and remained committed to the ceasefire agreement.
