Poll Finds 51% of Likud Voters Prefer Ideological, Combative Candidates

Three days before the Likud primary, a poll found that 51% of Likud voters preferred ideological and combative candidates, while 31% favored moderate and statesmanlike candidates and 18% did not know. Among voters who had previously left Likud, the pattern nearly reversed: 43% preferred moderate and statesmanlike candidates, 40% preferred ideological and combative candidates, and 17% did not know. Channel 13 presented the survey with polling partners HaMadad, Stat-Net and HaMidgam. The report did not disclose when the fieldwork was conducted.
