Likud Candidates Make Final Push Before Monday Primaries

Likud’s roughly 140,000 eligible members will vote Monday to choose the party’s next Knesset slate from 124 candidates, including about 40 competing nationally. Each voter may select up to 12 national candidates, while campaigns say more than 20,000 votes are typically needed for a realistic slot and are targeting about 25,000. Justice Minister Yariv Levin is emphasizing judicial reform, Transportation Minister Miri Regev launched a mobile campaign studio, and Almog Cohen began a compressed run after receiving eligibility relief Wednesday. Recent Likud primary turnout has ranged from 55% to 57%.
