A Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya arrived in Cairo on Sunday for talks with Egyptian officials on a Gaza ceasefire roadmap linked to President Donald Trump's peace plan. The framework calls for Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups to disarm, Israeli forces to withdraw, and Palestinian technocrats to govern Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the latest roadmap, saying Israel would not withdraw from the roughly 60% of Gaza it controls until Hamas is fully disarmed. It was unclear whether al-Hayya would meet Jared Kushner, Nickolay Mladenov or Tony Blair during their scheduled regional visit.
