Eight Foreign Ministers Condemn Israel’s Rejection of Gaza Roadmap

Foreign ministers of the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Egypt condemned Israel’s rejection of the U.S.-backed Gaza roadmap and urged the Board of Peace, with American support, to take immediate measures. Their joint statement said the 15-point plan pairs Hamas’s disarmament with an Israeli withdrawal, an international stabilization force, technocratic administration and reconstruction. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel will not withdraw until Hamas is fully disarmed. Likud answered that the Arab states were seeking to replace Netanyahu with opposition leaders who would grant their demands, adding that this would not happen.
