Kushner, Blair and Mladenov Open Gaza Roadmap Talks With Netanyahu in Jerusalem

Jared Kushner began a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Monday, joined at the Prime Minister's Office by Board of Peace envoys Nickolay Mladenov and Tony Blair. The talks center on a 15-point road map implementing President Donald Trump's Gaza plan, which Hamas accepted and Netanyahu publicly rejected. Netanyahu said in recent days that Israel rejects the document and the IDF will not withdraw until Hamas is dismantled. An official familiar with the meeting said the delegation is not seeking Israel's signature on it. A senior Board of Peace official said there are no substantial gaps with Israel and that Hamas must relinquish all weapons and military infrastructure.
