Bennett Vows to Strike Iran if Hezbollah Fires and to Draft All Haredi Men

Naftali Bennett set out his security doctrine on Wednesday at the Israel Security Doctrine Conference, declaring that if Hezbollah fires on Israel his government would strike Iran. He said the IDF is short 20,000 soldiers while 100,000 healthy young Haredi men do not serve, and pledged to draft everyone with no exemptions and no arrangements. On Gaza, Bennett said Israel would not move a millimeter from the yellow line until Hamas fully disarms and the weapons leave the Strip. He called for removing Qatar and Turkey from Gaza and bringing in Egypt, describing Qatar as an enemy state that financed the October 7 massacre.
