Kadim Reestablishment Ceremony Completes Northern Samaria Return

Thirty families moved into Kadim in northern Samaria on Thursday, 21 years after the community was evacuated under the 2005 disengagement. Residents cut a ribbon at a reestablishment ceremony attended by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Minister Ze'ev Elkin, Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan and Rabbi Chaim Ganz. Most new residents came from Tel Aviv and central Israel, according to reporting on the move. Kadim's return follows Homesh, Sa-Nur and Ganim, completing the physical reestablishment of all four northern Samaria communities evacuated in 2005.
