Security Forces Rescue Jewish Hikers From Stone Attack in Sa’ir

A group of Jewish hikers mistakenly entered the Palestinian Authority village of Sa’ir in eastern Gush Etzion, where dozens of Arab rioters threw stones at them. Security forces reached the village and rescued the group. Initial reports said a community security coordinator arrived first, was struck by a rock and fired in self-defense. Palestinian residents disputed that account, alleging the hikers entered deliberately and started a fire before the clashes. The report did not identify the hikers, confirm injuries or provide an exact time for the incident.
