Jonathan Pollard Joins Sharren Haskel’s Israel First Party

Jonathan Pollard has joined Israel First, the party founded by former deputy foreign minister Sharren Haskel for the October election. Pollard and Haskel announced the move together near the Western Wall on Sunday morning. Pollard said Haskel had fought for him quietly, loyally and effectively, and argued that leaders failed to take responsibility after October 7. Haskel called his trust a great privilege and responsibility; Pollard, 72, served 30 years in a U.S. prison for spying for Israel before moving to Israel in 2020.
