Sharren Haskel Submits Israel First Slate and Confirms Independent Run

MK Sharren Haskel arrived early Sunday with Israel First candidates to submit the party's Knesset slate. She said the party would remain in the race through Election Day and expressed confidence it would cross the electoral threshold. Haskel said the independent run followed unsuccessful alliance talks and consultations with Jonathan Pollard, Gilad Erdan, Yoaz Hendel and Hili Tropper. She said she is not seeking the premiership, but wants Israel First to influence a national Zionist government's policies on security, the economy, military service and education; the party is allied with Ale Yarok, and Pollard is participating in home meetings and grassroots campaigning.
