IDF Says Alumim Rocket Alert Was a False Identification

The Home Front Command application distributed a rocket-and-missile warning for Kibbutz Alumim shortly before 10:24 a.m. on Wednesday. The IDF later said the warning resulted from a false identification and that there was no concern of a security incident. The military issued the clarification through its official channel at 10:24 a.m. The update applied specifically to the warning sent through the Home Front Command application for the kibbutz and did not describe any separate launch, interception, impact, damage or casualties.
