Shin Bet Confirms Significant Threat Behind Yair Netanyahu’s Miami Evacuation

The Shin Bet confirmed Saturday that a significant threat to Yair Netanyahu prompted his urgent evacuation from Miami to Israel with his security team. The agency said the decision followed a threat assessment but did not identify the source or nature of the danger. The confirmation concerns a December 2025 episode that had previously been described through media reports and anonymous security briefings. Earlier reports attributed the threat to Iran, but the Shin Bet’s public confirmation did not name Iran or state that an attack was imminent.
