Israeli forwards Idan Toklomati and Liel Abada scored as Charlotte FC defeated Atlanta United 2-0 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Toklomati opened the scoring in the 21st minute, finishing a move created by Allan Saint-Maximin and Pep Biel. Abada doubled the lead in the 48th minute, cutting onto his left foot and finishing into the side netting after another counterattack. Charlotte said Toklomati scored away at Atlanta for a second consecutive season, Abada recorded his eighth goal contribution since the World Cup break, and the club secured its fourth straight victory in Atlanta.
