Guardio announced a $40 million funding round at a $1.1 billion valuation, bringing total funding for the Tel Aviv consumer-cybersecurity company to $167 million. Wiz co-founder and CEO Assaf Rappaport joined existing investors ION Crossover Partners, Union Tech Ventures, Vintage Investment Partners, Cerca Partners and Emerge Ventures. Guardio says it now has one million paying customers, $150 million in annual recurring revenue, and more than 100% annual revenue growth for four consecutive years. The company plans to use the capital to strengthen consumer protection across messages, email, calls and web activity.
