Iranian state-linked reporting named six members of Iran’s regular armed forces as killed in U.S. strikes on southern Iran during the night of September 1. The six were Hossein Mahdavian, Hamed Okati, Amirhossein Salimzadeh, Mohammadreza Badran, Seyed Malek Mousavi-Tabar and Mojtaba Bagheri. The report grouped them with Iran’s Navy but gave no precise strike location. It provided no account of the targets, the circumstances of the strikes or whether other personnel were killed or wounded. The names were announced two days after the reported attack.
